Elbe Sandstone Mountains view in the morning light
The ascent to the Lilienstein began early in the morning in the dark. The weather forecast had promised 85 per cent humidity, which increased the chance of seeing patches of mist in the valleys. The morning light was marvellous, giving us an unforgettable experience of nature.

Azores - View to the volcano Pico
The driveway through grassy green meadows leads the eye to the silhouette of the volcano Pico, highest mountain in Portugal on the Azores island of the same name, which rises majestically in the distance. Mallorca / Majorca - View over Pollença
The island of Mallorca offers very different motifs. Here is a panoramic view of the beautiful old town of Pollença with its sea of houses interspersed with alleys and the Calvary el Calvari, with the Eglésia del Calvari chapel and the Carrer del Calvari staircase leading up to it. The place where the photo was taken is the Puig de Maria, the local mountain opposite. The climb is worthwhile not only because of the wonderful view, but also because the monastery café is very inviting.
