Story
The Elbe Sandstone Mountains offer many spectacular views. There are often backlit situations like in this picture.
If the required dynamic range exceeds the capacity of my modern camera, I take several differently exposed shots of the same image so that I can then merge them as layers in the image processing. I then use a layer to merge them together in the image processing.
For this reason, too, the use of a tripod is indispensable when taking pictures with high quality requirements.
